Aniekan Abasi Ekanem, MS

Aniekan grew up in Nigeria before completing his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Evansville, Indiana, in 2020. Following his undergraduate studies, he went on to earn an MS in Sustainable Engineering at Villanova University. Here, he developed interests in water security, international development, and life cycle analysis, and subsequently joined the University of South Florida as a PhD student in Environmental Engineering in the fall of 2025. He is currently investigating energy and water dynamics in data centers and AI infrastructures. Aniekan is a recipient of the Richard Stessel Fellowship.
