Current research at home looks at quantifying urban water pollution (plastics, sediments, and nutrients), monitoring ecological restoration, improving desalination energy efficiency, and watershed planning for water quality improvement in Lake Okeechobee.

We study the interactions between hydrological alterations and floodplain ecosystems in the Mekong and Irrawaddy River Basins.
