Uzoma Ajugwe

Uzoma Ajugwe earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of South Florida.  He helped an electric utility to develop computer simulations for CO₂ sequestration at a power-generating station.

As of 2026, Uzoma is pursuing a PhD in Petroleum Engineering at UT Austin, where his research focuses on using sand tank experiments and numerical modeling to better understand fractures in Enhanced Geothermal Systems.

Outside academics, Uzoma coaches a youth soccer team on the weekends and is a fan of Manchester United.
