We are pleased to share that our paper, “A Closed-loop, State-centric, Multi-agent Framework for Passenger Load Estimation from Heterogeneous Data Streams,” has been accepted for presentation at the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2026), taking place September 15–18, 2026, in Naples, Italy.
The paper presents a closed-loop framework for robust passenger load estimation from heterogeneous sensing streams. The proposed approach integrates physical feasibility constraints, adaptive trust allocation across multiple data sources, and residual-feedback learning to reduce recursive drift and improve robustness under noisy and inconsistent sensing conditions.
